The lovely Anna Torv will be joining us tonight! Australian-born Anna plays FBI agent Olivia Dunham on Fringe, but you might also know her as the main character Nariko in the video game Heavenly Sword for Playstation 3. In other words: she’s a TOTAL BADASS!

When Anna’s not entangled in a J.J. Abrams plot-web, Anna loves the outdoors. To destress her life, she reads books and employs what Australians call the “ten-yard stare” while going on long walks. It’s when you set your focus onto the horizon. Sounds intense. I’ll have to try it sometime while I’m at work. Though for me it would probably be more like a one-yard stare. My office is pretty small. When Cory asks why I’m staring at the side of his head, I’ll say, “WHAT? Anna Torv told me I could do it!!!”

According to TV Guide, Anna will be a guest on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ this coming Monday (11/16) on NBC along with Tim McGraw and Josh Capon. Be sure to check your local listings or set your DVRs. If you miss it, be sure to check back here, as we’ll likely put it up on our YouTube Channel.

     Of course Peter is hardly the only one whose world has been rocked. Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) lost her sweetheart John Scott, and she’s now lost her partner and confidante Charlie. If bad things really do happen in three’s (although maybe on ‘Fringe,’ that’s a low estimate), one wonders: whose grave will poor Olivia be weeping over next? “I don’t know, but that really begs the question: who’s she going to care for next?” responds Torv. “So that might be fun. Maybe there’s somebody about to walk around the corner. We know we can’t lose Peter!” And, with two universes to chose from, she adds, “There’s got to be somebody for this girl!”

     While the Sam Weiss (Kevin Corrigan) wasn’t a love connection, per se, it was certainly a welcome dose of Jedi mind control training. Does the bowling Yoda figure have still more to teach Olivia? “I think he does,” says Torv. “Olivia has a whole lot more to learn. We won’t see him for a little bit yet, but I loved that little story. I thought it was a shout-out to a couple of different things too, to have the oracle in the domestic environment. I thought it was great fun. And he was great fun to work with, too.”
