ELLE’s roundup of a smattering of stylemakers’ summer highlights

How have you been spending you summer?
I had a couple of months at home in Australia, some time in Toronto to visit my brother and his niece, and some time in New York. I live by the sea in Australia and the weather of course is glorious all year round. It was very relaxed, plenty of good food, good company and good Aussie wine! After spending a month in Australia, I met a girlfriend in NYC and traded in my thongs (Australian for flip flops!) for my high heels and we spent our days trotting around the parks and cafes and our nights seeing some great shows and great bars. I had lived in NYC for the first year of Fringe, but did more that one week in June then the whole year I spent there.

Did you pick up any hobbies?
My brother bought me a pottery wheel for my birthday in June and I spent a lot of time trying to get the hang of that. I am making very lopsided pots!

Most looking forward to this fall?
I am a sucker for jackets!
